Why does my female 4yr old cat cry everyday,unless she's asleep?

Why does my Black female 4 yr old cat keep scratching my mom's bedroom door only when I get up early,but while I am sleeping she'll not bother! Why does she want so bad to be in her room?

This is just what cats want to do. My two do. every morning at about 6am they start scratching at the door to get in our room. Sometimes they just want to cuddle up on the bed because they like our company. Other times its to ask for food.

Your mother may be the cats preferred person for feeding. Ie does your mother mainly feed the cats? If so this is who they see as the person to go to ask for food.

It is not unusual behavior.
