Why has my cats behavior changed so suddenly?

My cat's appetite has recently changed drastically, she is always hungry and begging for food every hour. She also throws up once a week. Today she did something that she has never done before. She urinated on a blanket in one of the rooms and she has never urinated in anything other than her litter box or outside? Could these be signs of something? This is my first cat so i am not use to the ways that they behave.

Yes It could be an indication of something wrong. there are a few illnesses which can cause a cats appetite to increase such as thyroid issues

However your vet will have to do some tests to discover the correct diagnosis.
Vomiting and urinating can be an indication of a cats distress when they are not feeling well. So I would recommend that you take her to see a vet sooner rather than later as it will be easier to treat her in the early stages of any illness.
