Why is my cat sticking her butt in the air while making a wierd sound?

My cat is sticking her butt in the air. Can she not go to the bathroom? She is also making a sound like a loud "purr". I think she has to go to the bathroom but im not sure?

Hi sounds to me like a cat in heat to me. If she is not spayed then I would say that this is what she is doing.

If she is spayed then she could have some discomfort in her rear end which could be due to constipation or a parasite problem like worms etc.
