"Xanthe" was the name of an Amazon. It also means "golden girl." Although my cat is not gold (she's a grey tabby) she is entirely fearless and thinks nothing of pouncing on her much older, larger (and crabbier) step-brother. She also enjoys escaping from the house, climbing to impossible heights and other dangerous activities.
