Cat acts stange every 6 months

Hi

Is it possible that my cat still goes into season even though she is spayed? Every 6 months my indoor cat starts to act strange, my other cats attack her and she acts hyper, breathes heavier, and her nostrils flare. Last time I took her to vet they said this was happening every 6 months. Thank you for any help you can give me.

no she cannot go into heat again if she is spayed. However sometimes there can be hormone imbalances which may cause problems but i can't understand why this would happen every six months only.

Sound like your vets weren't very helpful. Did they not give you any idea as to what could be causing her behavior change? Did they do any tests?

I wonder if she has an allergy to something which is also on a cycle.

If I were you i would take her back to the vets for some exploratory work to be done, they sounds ,like it will need further investigation to find the possible cause.
