Cat door Question

Please help!! I'm going crazy with no sleep. I have 2 cats who were indoor for the last 7 years. I moved this summer and let them out into the yard which made them very happy. I cut a section of the screen on the sliding glass door so they could enter and leave at will. Now that it's cold, I can't leave that door open at night. I have steel entry doors which I would like to have a cat door installed into but I can't find anyone who will do it or even anyone who has knowledge of how it would be done. I have been told that it can't be done by one door company.

Does anyone have any answer as I can't continue these sleepless nights. Thanks.

Sorry Lori i don't have the answer about who can cut the door for you perhaps someone wlse here on the site can help with that.

the other option is that you deside to keep your cats in at night or out if you are ok with that. I have never owned a cat flap instead My cats either go out for the night or stay in and the rest of the time I let them in or out as required. they soon settle into a regular routine.
