Cat legs shaking

When my 4 yr old cat lays down sometimes I notice it shakes, not like when they dream but if you touch it it feels kind of like a pur in his legs. It doesn't seem to bother him but I was wondering if this wAs normal.

Hi well it could be a trapped nerve, sort of when your eye starts to twitch for no particular reason.

Perhaps when he lays down he pinches the nerve which causes it to shake for awhile.

I wouldn't worry about it too much if the cat is not in distress and shows no other symptoms. Perhaps mention it to the vet next time you visit.
