if my cat coughs up a hairball in orange liquid , what does it mean? (i mean i have see a hairball before but its usually in a clear liquid), the area where he eats is clean , whats wrong wiht him?

Sometimes the action of coughing up a hairball can cause a small bleed to occur, this is normal and as long as it is only a small amount and does not keep happening there is nothing to worry about.

hairballs can be rather nasty for a cat so regular grooming is essential to prevent them from happening. i have some information about hairballs on my site which you may find of further interest here

best wishes KAte
