Concerned about my cat

A few months go my cat had his leg taken off and a few months down the line now he's leg and nose has gone a dirty black and his fur comming out very easily and im very concernd would you be able to help me to tell me what that is ?

Hi Kim, well scar tissue does go black on a cat. My cat had a scratch on her nose and now she has a little black splodge that will always be there. This could be what is causing the colour change on your cats skin.

As for the fur loss whell this can be caused by several things, stress is one possible cause, ringworm or allergies are others. the trouble is a vet needs to see the area to be able to diagnose the cause.

i would take him anyway to the vets as having a leg off is quite a big operation for a cat and any signs of change in behaviour of condition should be checked out, in case complications have set in. the sooner any problems can be found and tackled the better.
