Giving My Cat A Bath

I was giving my cat a bath and after a little bit and while I was rinsing her off she just went completely limp. Wondering why that happened. After I dried her good she was fine.

Sometimes anxiety can cause this in cats. It may have even been a very short passing out similar to a blackout that humans have when they are anxious.

If it has not happened to your cat before then my advice would be just to keep an eye on him over the coming days and weeks to make sure that this does not happen again. If it does it would be a good idea for your vet to take a look in case your cat has developed fits etc.

Cats don't like baths as you know and they don't need them either unless they get something very nasty in their fur. this is because bathing can remove all the natural oils from the fur and skin and cause a dull lifeless coat and even possible dry skin.
