Hi
I'm sorry but there really is no other option but to get your cat properly diagnosed and treated by a vet. If this condition has gone on for so long it is definitely something which needs further investigation.

Sadly sometimes there is no other option but to get a proper diagnosis before trying to treat whatever the problem is. the danger is that without a proper diagnosis you could be making things worse. Sorry

Try to find out if there are services in your area which can help with the costs of vet care. Often animal charities can help.

i hope you can get him to the vets soon

best wishes Kate
