Hi
Well your kitten is very young indeed and because they are not feeding on their mother’s milk there may be a tummy upset.

I assume you are hand feeding him with special kitten formula as this is designed for optimal health and digestive health too.

Please see my page about kitten feeding and watch the video on the page which also shows you how to help your cat eliminate afterwards. Here is the page

I also have other pages on my site about caring for kittens which you may also find of help. It can be more involved than you first think. They can get sick quite easily especially when they have been taken away from their mother too early. Their immune system has not been able to build up properly and this can open them up to viruses etc. But if you keep a close eye on them etc they should be fine.

I hope your kittens health picks up and that he grows into a strong and healthy cat, i’m sure he will under your care.

best wishes kate
