kitty suddenly doesnt eat or play anymore?

My cat, ruby, is 4.5 months old and she is very playful. She doesn't even care about being petted or cuddled because she'd rather attack your hand instead. She uses the house furniture as a playground all day. However, since yesterday she has not wanted to eat anything at all. She only drinks water. Also, she has stopped playing completely. And I'm VERY worried. This isn't like her at all. Just the day before yesterday she was perfectly normal.

She is too young to be pregnant, right? We have a boy cat in the house as well and they play together sometimes. Ruby hasn't grown full size yet... she's still a kitten, so I doubt she's pregnant. But that's the only explanation I can think of.
Ruby is a 100% indoor, spoiled cat. What's wrong with her?

Hi
Cats and kittens can get bugs and viruses just like us which lays them low for a few days. As long as they are still drinking then i would wait to see how she is in a few days before considering taking her to the vets.

As for being pregnant well 4 months is a little early but some cats do mature faster than others and female cats can become pregnant from around 6 months of age. So do consider having her spayed in the near future if there are toms around.

i have a couple of pages about this here

Hope she is Ok again soon best wishes Kate
