i have a 3 year old cat, and i recently brought home a 4 month old cat, and my older one hates me and my mom now, we can't pet him or anything without him growling! will he ever get over it?

It is very importnant that you introduce the two cats in such a way that they don't feel threatened by each other.

Even though they have already seen each other. i would recommend that you take a back ward step and used the introduction process over a few days to help build confidence in both cats. this will settle your cats down and your cat should get back to more his old self. At the moment he feels stressed by the new situation.
