Miggi - A Cat Rescue Story

by Robert E white
(London England)

One day we see a lovely black cat outside our house, we knew she had a home a few houses along from us, the owner had even seen their cat sitting in our bay window. This cat it turns out became pregnant and stayed at our house sometimes and other times returning after a few days. The first lot of kittens were born. Later the next pregnancy from this cat, more kittens, I was getting concerned not ever having seen any, she re-appeared later, thin, with a dull coat and seemed to be looking for them in our house. pregnancy three, well she was at our house a lot more often during this time, we were hoping that she would deliver them at our house, and our prayers were answered, my wife bought a nice cat matress for her, she gave birth to three kittens, two Toms, one brownish tabby and the other black with white socks and white 'v' chest and a beatiful female long furr tabby.

I have had the mother spayed and also cat flu jabbed and a blood lab test and she is fine, I am pretty sure the owner has moved I was hoping the owner might come by and ask about their cat / kittens anyhow I have managed to find the kittens new homes, they will be 11 weeks old monday 20th september 2010. As for mum (Miggi) she is welcome to stay if she wishes,

my Daughter loves cat but has an allergy and now the kittens are getting bigger so is the reaction to their furr. One cat is okay. It was a lovely experience to see the kittns born and slowly develop into small cats. I would do the same again.

wow it is so hard to see them little ones go to new homes, but Miggi (mum) wants the house to herself again which is a shame, she will not share, but this is norm.

regards cat lovers
