my cat has laringitis

my cat is having trouble meowing but before he meowed all the time to get my attention to play now he seems hoarse why could this be?

well at this time of year i would think that he has probably got a cold. Our cat Little Mo losses her voice now and again when she has the sniffgles. keep an eye on him for a few days and if he gets worse or stops drinking or eating then take them to the vets, just in case.
