my cat is acting strange

my cat's chin is puffy and does not want me to touch him. He is also hissing. What is wrong with him? please write back

Hi
he may have been stung on the chin and this is inflammation. If so this should go down in a day or so, if not then he will need to see your vet.

The other possibility is feline acne which does occur on th chin and can become sore from scratching and if excessive he may have also got it infected hence the inflammation.

If he is still the same in a day or so or if the symptoms become worse and he is in lots of distress then a trip to your vets will be needed.
