My Cat is sleeping alot

I just resently left my husband and moved in with my parents I have keep our two cats i my room because parents have a dog and two cats. My one cat is still playful the other kitten sleeps all the time only gets up to eat is this because she is stresse will she go back to normal?

yes it is likely that your cat is very stressed, a new home , new smells, a smaller place to live and other animals around too.

i dont know what your long term plans are but it will be very difficult and unhealthy for your two cats to be kept in one room for too long. in the meantime all you can do is to try and keep your cats new environment as interesting and as stimulating as possible for them. please see this page for more information on this

If your kittens behavior does not improve in a weeks time or if other symptoms appear then it would be best to have her checked over by a vet just in case their is a physical illness involved.
