My cat suddenly looks scrawny

my ragdoll cat is a little over 1 yr old-for the past 6 months or so he has maintained a wt of around 15 pounds-suddenly in the last month or so, he has lost 4 lbs-the only recognizable difference is in mid belly to back leg area-looks scrawny!! He eats well and is not having any bowel or bladder problems-he likes to run in back yard supervised in early am and afternoon-it has been very cold here-only thing I can think of he is using up so many calories in the cold??? Any other ideas? Thanks

Cats weight can fluctuate through out the year but no so much that you would say they were scrawny. Especially if they are still eating normally.

If after worming his weight does not come back within a few weeks then it may be a good idea to have him checked by a vet.
