(Oneonta)

So my friends grandmother has a cat names Molly. shes 13 but up until between this last Saturday to Tuesday things have changed. she seems very sick but we cant find the cause.

her symptoms:

won't eat
bad breath
massive weight loss
drooling in sleep
lumpy back
dry fur
doesnt purr like normal.

are we just being paranoid or is there something seriously wrong with her?

Answer from KAte
Hi No i dont think you are being paranoid. However there are so many different possibilities for her condition. At her age she could be suffering from all sorts of conditions due to old age but many of them can be medicated for and make her life easier.

whenever a cat wont eat its definitely time to see the vet as soon as possible.

I hope she is better soon
