not sure if my sisters cat is ill

I'm baby sitting my sisters cat while she is out of town. I came home from work tonight and its moving close to the ground with its butt in the air and meowing alot. I can tell by her face expression something is wrong like it dosent feel well. I checked its behind and it has a clear drop coming from its butt should i bring it too my local pet hostipal?

first of all is the cat a female and has it been spayed? If not then these symptoms could be an indication of her being in heat. see this page for more on this

If not and the behavior continues then yes a visit to the vets would be a good idea especially as it is not your cat and so you are not so tuned into the cats behaviors etc. better to be safe than sorry.
