please help me! Toilet training

im trying to potty train my cat. and at one point im suppose to catch my cat using the toliet and im suppose to teach him the correct posture to be able to sit on the sit without the litter pan in the toliet. but everytime he is about to use the bathroom, ill go in there and he wont let me near him while he's doin it, so im not able to show him the correct way. why is it like that and what can i do to be able to train him correctly?

Hi are you talking about one of those train your cat to use the toilet training programs? If so i am afraid i have never trained a cat to do this, so am unable to advise. Perhaps someone else here on the will have the answer for you. Fingers crossed (as well as legs where your cat is concerned) :)
