Stray Kitten

There sat a kitten when I opened the Door

He had puffed up eyes and mud on his paw
Let the poor thing in said my pet loving wife
I knew if I did We would have him for life
It might have a home of it's own I quickly replied
My wife gave me that look, now it's safe and inside.
