washing cat bowls in sink we wash our dishes

I heard it was unhealthy to wash cat bowl(had raw food in)in the sink we wash ours.


Answer
No this is not true but I would ensure that you wash them separately from your own dishes so as not to use the same water.

I was my cats bowl in our sink but on there own. the reason being is that cats mouths contain lots of bacteria and so you want to minimize the risk of getting anything on your clean plates.
