last night she was foaming from the mouth and shaking on her side on the floor she was good enough all day

Sounds to be like a possible fit. You need to take your cat to the vets for some tests to be done. There may be a underlying condition which is causing this or she may even had eaten something poisonous.

Please do not delay in taking your cat to the vets.
