Cat Walking Low to the ground

My 3 year old cat, who has been spayed, has been walking low to the ground. She is stalking around like she is scared of something. She is eating ok, and drinking, and she is using her litterbox. She has been laying on the tile floor in the bathroom, I think because of the heat ( it's currently summer here) and I just can't tell what's wrong. She doesn't seem to be in pain because she isn't meowing or anything. I really don't know what's wrong and I don't want to take her to the vet unless it's absolutely necciasary. Please help?

Well i have to be honest and I really don't know what this could be. My first reaction is that she may just be very hot. My own cat on very hot days sort of slinks around close to the ground and flops down on the floor to cool off.

And the fact that there are no other symptoms of ill health would perhaps suggest that she may just be hot.

All i can suggest is that you keep an eye on her for a few days and see if there are any more symptoms.

Unfortunately the only way you can be 100 percent sure that she is Ok would be to take her to the vets.

I hope all is well

best wishes Kate
