what cause the black spots on the cats eyelids?

well I am not a vet so cannot give a clinical diagnosis, however in my experience black spots on a cats face can be caused by scratches. My cat has black spots on her nose and lips now due to past fights and scratches. they are nothing to worry about, sort of scar tissue.
However I would always advise a check up with the vet to make sure that it is not caused by something else.
