elderly cat

My 9lb eldely cat 14 1/2 has started carry around and nice size stuffed bunny and meow at the same time, she can even jump up on my high bed. what is going on. sometimes the meow cry she does sounds sad.

This doesn't sound that unusual, many cats carry out this sort of behavior. the fact that it has started out of the blue may just simply be that your cat is looking for comfort in her old age.
