lump on cats leg

Hi! I have a 6 year old Calico cat and I just found a lump on her hind leg. It's blue in color but when I touch it--it doesn't seem to bother her or cause her to meow. Any ideas as to what this could be. A cyst?

well yes it could be a cyst, it could also be a tick. they look sort of bluey grey and look just like a blob or lump.

You should really take your cat to the vets as soon as possible to get the lump checked out. If it is a tick they can remove it properly (infections can occur if a tick remains too long on the body). if it is something else then they will be able to treat that too.

It is always best to be safe than sorry, so i wouldn't leave it too long but i'm sure it can be sorted out quickly.
