Hey. My 6 month old calico cat has been acting very strange lately. She is still as lovable as she's always been. But she isn't as playful with other two cats in home. She also always try to get outside and eat people food. I don't allow this behavior. she's my baby. Please help.

Hi
well the symptoms you describe aren't really specific to any particular illness and so is rather difficult to advise about.

The wanting to eat people food is a natural cat thing and your right in not letting her, once this begins it can be difficult to break. Don't worry about her trying though this is just natural curiosity and instinct.

the same can be said about wanting to get out, cats are naturally outdoor animals and so her instincts will be driving her to want to get out. unfortunately depending where you live this is not always possible, so it is vitally important for the happiness of your cat that their inside world is as interactive and stimulating as possible to help fulfil these instincts. This could be the problem with your cat, she is bored.

i have a page about indoor cat here which you might find useful there are also many cat toy pages with toys on that are more stimulating than just the usual toys found in stores, these may be of help to you also.

here are the pages
