cat has anal leakage

I have a 12 year old male manx cat that is having rectal leakage.

What can I do to correct this problem. Other than that, he is in fairly good health for his age.
Thank you.
Jim

Hi
I'm not sure what you mean exactly. If you mean that he has constant diarrhea then there are things you can try to correct this. However if it is something else then only a vet may be able to help as there may be a need for surgery if the bowel has a problem. There may even be a problem with his anal glands which the vet can sort out for him.

i have a page about cat diarrhea which you may find of further help here

https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-diarrhea.html

However if this has been going on for some time then your cat needs to a see a vet sooner rather than later.

best wishes Kate
