cat in pain?

i have a 11 month old kitten.. lately most times he is done at his litter box he will meow in pain, and even hiss at us or the dog.. a few mintes later he is fine.. what could be the cause?

it could be that he is a little constipated and it is uncomfortable for him to go. please see this page for more information on this
