cat meow a lot and urinating in house

my male cat is starting to meow alot all the time lately and started peeing not in his box like he used too and going everywhere in the house

Hi Sounds to me like something is causing your cat to feel a little concerned. i.e anew cat in the area outside which he can small and is making him feel as if he has to defend and mark his territory.
