Cats releasing hair

My cat never released hair we've had her for a year now and she just started realasing hair about a week ago, should we go get her checked up ?

Do you mean shedding her coat? If so this is completely normal for any cat, except for those cats who don't have fur.

Cats will shed their fur as the temperature rises so that they don't over heat.
it is important to grrom your cat regaulay to help clear up loose fur and also with cats whi have long fur it helps to prevent matts forming in the fur.
