Is my cat severely sick?

I brought my cat home today. She is only a couple months old and everyone in my house was telling me to use flea ointment for her fleas. I put it on her and dried her off as directed. In the middle of the night I woke up because she had puked on my bed, now she cant walk, is shaking, and her head is bobbing. I washed her off with soap and water like the directions said to do if there was any side affect but she is still bobbing her head and her eyes are really droopy. Is she dying? What should I do?

My advice is to get your kitten to a vets as soon as you can. I don't like the sound of the symptoms at all but it is impossible to say exactly what the problem could be. However as it has happened so soon after the flea treatment it is likely to be associated with it in some way.

Not all flea treatments are the same and sometimes some cast can have a reaction against some of the ingredients. Your vet is the best person to ask about the correct flea treatment to use for your cat in the future. In the mean time I would not want to take any chances and as I say your kitten needs to see a vet as soon as possible.

my cat is very sick, just lays there won't eat or drink and is very weak. what can i do till i can get her to the vet. in the morning, idon't want her dying till then. thanks

All you can do is to make sure she is comfortable and warm but not too hot.

You could try dribbling some water in her mouth from a spoon to try and get some water into her.

I hope the vet is a able to help and that she recovers soon
