Kitty meows at nite

My 4 month old kitty meows at nite near my door, I was wondering why she want to go outside she is an indoor cat?

No cat is an indoor cat by that i mean we choose to make them an indoor cat they don't. their natural instincts is to want to go and hunt, play, chase etc basically be a and do cat things.

night time is the natural time for cats to be awake and hunt etc and this is why cats often cry the most at night as they are calling to other cats etc.

If you do intend to keep your cat inside all the time you will have to make sure that you make their inside world as stimulating and interesting as the outside. please see this page for more on this here
