Our Lucky
I had been feeding a group of kitties in this ladies garage. One day while they were all eating I heard a small cry. I called out to kitty and out limped a small black kitty pretty banged up. Took him to vet right away and he even purred on the way there. Vet says he was either hit by a car or had crawled into the engine. His back leg and tail were mangled,upper repitorary problems, he was malnourished,dehydrated and had an infection setting in his leg. Vet wasn't sure he would survive,but one week later she amputated his leg and most of his tail. Six months recovery in our spare room and learning to use three legs and now 2 years later he runs like a champ, wrestle with my other kitties and is the most loved kitty of all.
