my cat made a strange noise

my cat was making an odd whining sound before being sick,

after all the years iv had her iv never seen her act this way...
she was soon sick after making the whining noise and i wonder whether there is any meaning or reason to worry ...?

Hi
She may have a hairball which she is trying to bring up and this can make them make a strange sound.

If I were you i would keep an eye on her for a few days to see if she does it again or if other symptoms appear in which case a trip to the vets is in order. However i would not worry at this point.
