my cat won't let me touch him and I know he's sick

My cat meows constantly, however today he wouldn't even let me touch him. He even hissed at me, I think he's sick. He looks droopy and I went outside and saw him and I called him and he meowed, however when I went over to him again, he ran away. So what do you think? He's always been a healthy cat, but I have lost a lot of cats do to sickness. Thanks Janice Gutierrez

Hi Janice
You are the best judge or whether or not your cat is sick as you know his normal behavior as opposed to this behavior. His behavior would suggest that something is wrong but it is impossible to say what.

You know the answer to this question, its to take your cat to the vets if you do think he is sick. It is the only way to know for sure and to prevent your cat from suffering in any way.

i hope it is something which can be cleared up quickly.
