New Litter Box

Hi:


I have two ten year old cats and I just purchased two electric litter boxes. The cats do not like them and one of them ( the female Calico) is peeing and pooping on the floor.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately some cats just can't get used to these new electric litter boxes and have to return to normal ones.

However you could try a period of litter training with the new box using the confinement method. This may help the cat get used to the new box in a less stressful environment

Also you could try the cat attract litter with bit which may also help.
