old cat spraying

I have a 12 year old male cat who constantly sprays unrine. He has now been confind to only being in my conservatory for short periods of time. I have 3 other cats 1 male and 2 female and they have never behaved like this. I feel sorry for him because he doesn't have the option of being with us in the main part of the house but he just can't be trusted. I have been to the vet and tried various remedies to no avail....please help...

I think the best thing i can suggest is for you take a look at my page about why cats do this. It will help you understand the possible causes. Also I assume he is neutered as if not then this is a major cause of male spraying.
