sad cat

i have 5 pretty stray cats in my back yard that i feed everyday they all plays

with each other all the time one cat got sick and i took him in my home and
got him well now the cats will not play with him they are his brother and sisters
what can i do.

Hi well it all depends on your willingness to take on ownershp of these cats or not.

If yes then you will be taking on the responsibility of having them all spayed / neutered so that their territorial an aggressive behavior will subside. Their reaction to their brother s completely normal.

Cats are not like us they dont have the same loyalty to their siblings as we do. they are driven by hormone and territory.

These cats will eventually start to breed and then you will have lots more cats in your area and more cat fights etc as territory becomes fought over.

If you decide not to take on this responsibility then, you an do nothing and will have to just let nature its course which will probably mean that they will drive this cat away from their territory.
