swollen bum and white membraney stuff coming out of kitten bum

I have a 5 week old kitten who pooed some long membraney stuff out of bum. It looked like there was more there inside bum. Now bum is getting swollen and sore. Hasn't passed a poo in 24 hours ( except for this 3 inch piece of white stuff) Is it a worm- it doesnt look like one. Are there any home remedies to kill an infection? His bumm smells a bit also

Hi this does not sound good at all. I would strongly recommend that you take your very young kitten to see a vet. Mainly because he is so young and trying to self medicate could do more bad than good.
whether or not this is caused by worms or perhaps some other birth issue it is impossible to say but it definitely sounds like an infection has set in. In which case antibiotics are the only option.
