Very concerned.about my cat..HELP!

I noticed 2 rasied dry flesh colored areas on either side of my female cats anus (raised like a pimple but wart like in appearance). I squeezed one of them and it slowly expelled a thick dark brown gritty substance which smelled like cat feces and appeared as just that. My cat was not happy with this experience, as Im sure you can imagine, she did not seem to be in any extreme discomfort during this process. My indoor spayed cat is 12 years old, has had no change in eating and/or elimination habits, and is behaving as she normally does. Should I be concerned and rush her to the vet?

Hi
I don't think it is an emergency but i do think you should have her looked at my the vet. It could be abscesses which could become infected or it may have something to do with her anal glands. either way you need to know for sure.

Best wishes Kate
