worried about my Kitten

When I got home today I noticed my kittens eyes had a clear white membrane covering half her eyes equally covered on both sides her pupils both looked very small since, then she started to have diarrhea, she is running around like a mad thing, leaving a little trail of poo every now and again. what should i do?

The white membrane is what is known as the third eyelid and this is there to protect the eye. However when a cat is sick it also becomes slow to react and return to the side of the eye. So this along with the diarrhea is a strong indication that she is unwell.

It may be a simply tummy upset or it may be caused by other issues, however to be on the safe side your best option is to take your cat to see a vet as soon as you can. dehydration can set in fast with diarrhea and so needs to be treated urgently, especially in such a young cat.
