Loosing to many nipples and pacifiers to cat

My fixed cat it can be at night or in the day time she will get my sons (9 months) stuffed blankets or toys ...

carry it in her mouth and just walk around the house crying

any ideas why? she is almost 1 yrs old now the cat.
We definitly say shes the baby.. we dont let her even in the same room when our son sleeps whether we are there or not.
As she also eats his bottles and pacifiers on a regular basis!!
We need to hide them ALL the time!! OR keep them up high.

Any thoughts on this behaviour? and ideas?

Hi well it does sound like normal behaviour to me. I used to have a cat that used to take my things and carry them in her mouth.

Its part of the instinct to hunt and to carry there catch in the mouth I think.

I have a web page about how to make your cats indoor world as entertaining as possible so that they can explore all there natural instincts to keep them happy and not bored.
here is the page

night time is the natural times cats are most active and so this is when they will want to play etc. The calling could also be a part of this. Also make sure that your cat is neutered/spayed as this will stop her becoming frustrated and displaying heat behaviour such as calling.

best wishes KAte
