adult cat and urination issue

i have an adult cat who was a stray that i took in. she had always used the litter box but all of a sudden she is going to the bathroom all over the house. it seems to me that she prefers soft things to go to the bathroom on what could be wrong??

well there are two possible causes either it is due to illness or a behavioural issue.

Read through the page and see if there could be any possible changes which may have caused this sudden change (that's if you don't think it is a urinary infection) and try and help your cat back to their previous litter box use with the training mentioned on the page
