BIGORANGE my cat seem sick all of a sudden

We have a nine month old Orange tabby cat, in the last day or so he has not been eating, seems sluggish, makes weird gaging coughing sounds, and seems to be losing weight. He has been eating alot of mice latly but this has not caused problems in the past dose this sound like a problem that a cat gets when digesting mice. Selena

It is possible that he may have a small bone caught either in his mouth or throat which may be causing him problems. If he continues not to eat for another day or so then i would definitely recommned that you get a vet to take a look at him. Don't let the not eating go on for too many days as he will be getting weaker.

Although cats do eat birds and mice etc sometimes if they do eat too many then the small bones can accumulate and cause problems. So it may be that your kitty is in this situation.
