Cat acting strange and sneezing a lot

shes about 5 years old inside/outside shes recently been sneezing and coughing a bit but it went away . . . now she keeps biting herself on the paw and her back region near the base of her tail she has a kitten who's almost 9 months old now shes starting to hiss at her and my dog who shes lived with her whole life she also seems to be nevus and she turns and flinces/hisses at quick actions and close noises could someone have hurt her its strange do i need to take her to the vet?

yes it sounds like something is distressing her and making her feel irritable, which could be why she is acting aggressivily towards her kitten and the dog.

I don't think the sneezing is associated with her current problem. As for the biting and itching it sounds to me like she either has a skin problem possibly caused by an allergy (see this page for more on this)

or a parasite issue caused by fleas or some other mite.

If you cannot find the cause of your cats distress then a trip to the vets would be a good idea.
