why does our cat bite the carpeting. she will bite and pull up she kind of goes nuts.

it could be that she has a eating disorder known as Pica where they get a taste for unusal materials (i have apage on this site about it) or it could be that she is needing something for her teeth, dry kibble helps to keep them clean by scraping plague off and perhaps your cat is using the carpet in n the same way.
